Last week I was at work and we were sitting upstairs at the break
room. It is just this other girl and myself that sits up there and
talks, it is sort of a dark secluded creepy place to take break but
we have been sitting up there since we both started, I think so we
won't be bothered because most people that work there don't even know
that room exists and we have been there since the company started and
long ago it used to be our break room, but has since fallen into the
question "what is up those stairs?" "oh nothing, that is the haunted
break room" *laugh*
A few weeks ago we were up there talking and the light started
flickering, then I heard three caws from a bird. I told my
friend "someone is going to die", she was like "oh no, not again"
(well, that made me laugh, cuz somebody dies every day!, but usually
the bird tells us it is someone close). Last week the bird flew into
the factory and came right up to the break room, sat on the balcony
and then flew back out of the factory. I was like oh no, its getting
closer it is going to be real soon! We went downstairs and were
talking about it and a girl overheard us. She is a little
superstitious also and she said "I saw the feather on the ground from
that bird! A bird in the house, that is not good!" I said "Its
telling us somebody is dying, it always means that" , my other friend
said "maybe it doesn't mean that this time", I said "when hasn't it
happened?" and she said "never". We left the shop.
That girl that overheard us, the next day she came to work in shock.
She had been driving home and this girl ran out into the street in
hysterics. She stopped for the girl and the girl told her her mother
was dead in the house, she had come home and found her mom dead,
suicide, so my friend and her rider went to help the girl. She said
when the paramedics came they were working on the lady and she had a
bird in the house whose cage was not latched, the bird got out and
attacked one of the paramedics. When she told me that part of the
story, I got chill bumps...I said "Do you remember saying
yesterday "A bird in the house"?
