Topic: Telepathy
I woke up early this morning..4 am, thoughts racing. Yesterday I had a very strange day, have you ever had a whole day feel like you were just dreaming the whole day? Like day and night collided, that there wasn't any difference, that everything was just layer of layer of dreams. Over the years I've noticed that nightly unconscious/subconscious dreams weren't the only ones with symbolism but that the symbolism bled over into our waking reality as well. Or maybe just mine. Maybe no one else sees it, or maybe my buffer to keep the dreams as bay isn't as thick or my filter is clogged. Like a puzzle, these symbols. My dreams have been really strange this last few weeks and yesterday I woke up from that prison dream thinking about what it could mean. Certain songs came to mind that reminded me of a friend who called me several weeks ago in trouble- not alot he said- he just had to go to rehab or something and it dawned on me that the symbols were telling me that he was back in prison. So I checked, and there he was. Like a puzzle, the symbols were trying to show me or maybe he was trying to show me. In my dreams, and awake. I don't know what the hell I was thinking at 4 am, something about the 6 and 9 rhyme and the 6 and 9 dream, I think it was trying to tell me that even in a world where it seems like patterns are constant there will always be the oddities- the strange glitch- the hiccup. And what causes it? What caused my glitch this past few weeks? Alot of you guys know I'm very interested in telepathy and that I know alot of people who have been locked up in prison or jail. These are the people who can't communicate as well as normal people- most of the time they can't just pick up a phone or have to wait for weeks for mail- so I think it makes their 'telepathic' messages stronger- louder because there is more emotion behind it? I'm a strong believer that thought creates and manifests reality, maybe this is a buddhist belief or shamanism or something. Just thinking out loud really. What makes a prisoner more adept at being telepathic than a normal person other than his normal means of communicating have been stripped away? My friend Scott told me once that 'they can physically restrain your body but they can't restrain your spirit' and well, possibly your mind as well because it seems like the mind cannot be contained by walls? Thoughts are a powerful thing.
It reminds of something I read about Carl Jung one time:
'Synchronicity is an explanatory principle, according to its creator, Carl Jung. Synchronicity explains "meaningful coincidences," such as a beetle flying into his room while a patient was describing a dream about a scarab. The scarab is an Egyptian symbol of rebirth, he noted. Therefore, the propitious moment of the flying beetle indicated that the transcendental meaning of both the scarab in the dream and the insect in the room was that the patient needed to be liberated from her excessive rationalism. His notion of synchronicity is that there is an acausal principle that links events having a similar meaning by their coincidence in time rather than sequentially. He claimed that there is a synchrony between the mind and the phenomenal world of perception.
Carl Jung (1875-1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist and colleague of Freud's who broke away from Freudian psychoanalysis over the issue of the unconscious mind as a reservoir of repressed sexual trauma that causes all neuroses. Jung founded his own school of analytical psychology.
Jung believed in astrology, spiritualism, telepathy, telekinesis, clairvoyance and ESP. In addition to believing in a number of occult and paranormal notions, Jung contributed two new ones: synchronicity and the collective unconscious. '
