Remembering my Self
~~~~~~~~~~~
I've smiled with the sun in it's basking embrace
Shining diamonds in the river with it's illusive face
With a half murmurred sigh,
I could feel something calling
As if not quite remembered,
I could feel my Self falling
Downward inside of myself once again
Is this feeling one of grace or the price of my sins
Looking upward to the heavens for a sign
Thinking while the moon sweeps its light through the trees
Pleading with the god of the winds in sorrow on my knees
While praying and pondering
I could still feel it calling
knowing inside myself, that my Self is just crawling
Slowly through the outpour of the downpouring rain
the not quite remembered remembers again
Then forgets in a blink of an eye..
